8K a year Summary/Objective Responsible for managing the safety, housekeeping, production and quality performance of the employees in the department.
Responsible for assisting department employees in meeting production deadlines.
Ensure products meet precise specifications.
Essential Functions Adept in various welding processes (MIG, TIG & Stick).
Knowledge of Press Brake operation and tooling, waterjet, and laser processes.
Planning - Close Interaction with Engineering, Purchasing, Planning departments to keep orders moving on the production floor Job
Qualifications:
Must have a working knowledge of organizational flow.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software Outgoing & cooperative in meetings and dealing with internal and external personnel Must be organized and work well with constant priority changes Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions with minimum of supervision.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.

This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, etc.
The employee is routinely exposed to shop floor conditions, moving mechanical equipment, forklift traffic, etc.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.

Preferred Education and Experience 5 plus years welding, including stainless sheet metal.
3 years of experience managing a large staff, including responsibility for hiring, terminating and performance appraisals.
Strong communication skills in order to train and motivate employees Strong time management skills and attention to deal with a variety of duties and prepare reports according to schedule Job Type:
