POSITION SUMMARY:
The Controller will direct all accounting functions, ensure compliance with internal and external reporting guidelines, direct annual budget process including standards development, develop budgets and forecasts for short and long term planning, and provide analysis to support corporate decision making.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Direct all accounting functions, including but not limited to AP, AR, Payroll, Tax and financial reporting, financial and bank audits
  • Ensure compliance with internal and external reporting guidelines
  • Direct annual budgeting process
  • Develop forecasts and budgets for short and long term planning
  • Provide analysis to support corporate decision-making
  • Direct the efforts of all accounting employees
  • Other duties as assigned

  • EXPERTISE REQUIRED / MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's Degree in accounting or finance
  • CPA, CMA, or MBA desirable
  • 10 years in accounting with at least 5 years in a management or controller role
  • 3-5 years in a manufacturing accounting position
  • High level of proficiency using PC spreadsheets (Excel preferred)
  • Willingness to travel up to 15%

The Senior Cost Analyst shall actively ensure that his/her own activities and those of all employees within the project meet this obligation. The Senior Cost Analyst is expected to be familiar with these policies and ensure that they are implemented in all areas of control.
    SAFETY:
    Safety is paramount on any Morgan operation. The Senior Cost Analyst is expected to be familiar with the company's safety program and enforce the safety policy always. Never walk past an unsafe act.
    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
    Working in an office environment in a seated position a minimum of eight hours per day is required.
    The performance of this position may occasionally require exposure to the manufacturing areas where under certain areas require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses with side shields and mandatory hearing protection. Primary environment: ambient room temperatures, lighting and traditional office equipment as found in a typical office environment.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
