And at the back of the car, a second original shiny bumper, hangs a standard Super Sport inlay.
All bathed in white respray and wide black stripes racing up the middle of the hood and trunk lid.
Paint has areas of cracking and some small areas of underlying rust.
The black stripes also show some sap fading damage peppering them.
Interior Its correct combination of bench and bucket seats that are firm to the touch, encased in black vinyl, original belts, and high backs.
On the headrest and seat of the driver's chair, a few slight cracks are revealing the interior foam.
In front of those seats, a straight rally dash frames a trio of gauges inset into a black textured dash front.
Below that dash, newer black carpet floats an original, center console that has a shifter that would make an airline pilot proud, and this is inside a correct console.
Floor mats with white stitched SS 396 script badges are protecting the carpeting.
At the sides of that carpet, door panels center classy stainless trim and requisite SS emblems on bright handles and supple, comfortable armrests.
